Murchison Motorhome Park Facilities

Murchison Motorhome Park is very new, opening just before Christmas 2008

The architectually designed Facilities building is light and bright and is a pleasure to use. The kitchen is just so inviting. It features stainless steel sinks with a great view out onto the surrounding bush cladd hills above the river. There is a good selection of cooking utensils, pots, frypans and plates and cutlery for use by guests. A cold glass is waiting in the fridge for your wine or beer when you arrive.

There are two sets of electric elements, four hobs on each, constant hot water, a large fridge/freezer, a toaster and a microwave oven. In the winter an impressive wood fuelled Marshall Water Heater heats the hot water and underfloor heating for the whole building. A central dining table and wide screen TV complete the main living area.

Both male and female bathrooms are fun and colourful and the high clerestory windows allow in plenty of light and sun, heating the bathrooms from early morning

On the covered veranda are two washing machines and two dryers, also an outside sink so there is no excuse for not getting the washing up to date on your travels!

Enjoy a relaxed rest on the colourful cob chairs scattered along the veranda, running right the way around the building so there is always a spot in or out of the sun and wind.
